Invest Yosemite is designed to help readers make better-informed property and ownership decisions. It is also a commercial business. This page explains how those two things coexist.
Editorial independence
Payment, sponsorship, affiliate compensation or a commercial relationship does not buy a favorable editorial conclusion. Sponsored or compensated relationships should be identified when applicable.
Affiliate links
Some product or service links may be affiliate links. If you make a purchase through one of those links, Invest Yosemite may receive compensation. The goal of The Yosemite Home Stack is to recommend fewer, more useful products and systems rather than maximize the number of links on a page.
Sponsorship
Invest Yosemite may accept sponsorship for newsletters, tools, research categories or commercial placements. Sponsorship should be clearly distinguished from independent editorial analysis.
Property intelligence is not professional certification
Invest Yosemite content, tools, property reviews and reports are informational. Independent publication
Invest Yosemite is an independent media and property-intelligence publication. It does not provide real-estate brokerage services and purchasing Property Intelligence does not create a real-estate agency relationship.
The founder separately holds a California real-estate salesperson license. Any licensed brokerage activity or compensated real-estate referral is conducted outside Invest Yosemite through the applicable responsible broker and is not a service of Invest Yosemite.
Local real-estate agent recommendations
If a reader is looking for a local real-estate agent, Invest Yosemite may suggest professionals based on the area, property type and needs the reader describes. The reader chooses whom to contact and hire. Invest Yosemite does not provide brokerage services.
If an introduction results in a compensated real-estate referral, that referral is handled separately through the appropriate licensed brokerage and is not revenue of Invest Yosemite. The founder may receive referral compensation through her responsible broker when a referred client completes a transaction with a recommended real-estate professional.
Service-provider network
Third-party contractors, vendors and service providers are independent businesses. Invest Yosemite does not guarantee their work, licensing, insurance, availability or suitability. Owners should perform their own due diligence before hiring any provider.
Settlement-service referrals
Mortgage, title, escrow and other settlement-related services are subject to federal and state rules governing referrals and compensation. Invest Yosemite does not treat those categories as ordinary paid-lead inventory.
Corrections
Local rules, schedules and public information change. Time-sensitive articles should identify their source and date.
